How many remember the saying, California or Bust? How many really made it rich in gold?   Today with so many people on the internet and searching for a new career, the saying is now, Home Based Business or Bust!   Years ago, in 1849 James Marshall discovered gold in California while constructing a saw mill. Soon after that, the word spread and  people were coming in droves all over the world to California in search of the gold. People all over the world were abandoning their jobs, even store owners were closing their doors. Some people got there by boat and others by covered wagon, some made it and some did not.   Three hundred thousand people did make it to Sutters Mill to look for gold. Many had left their entire life behind and endured many obstacles to get there. Many of those thousands had to return to their home with little more than they had arrived with.   So why was it that with so many people searching for gold, did not survive? So many arrived ready to mine with nothing, no tools, no extra clothing and no money at all for food. How can you expect to become successful without the proper tools?   First it was California or Bust, now it is home based business or bust. Because of the bad economy we are in, people are getting laid off left and right. Doors are being shut to big corporations that no one would have ever expected. People are loosing their homes that they have worked so hard for and retirees are having to spend all their retirement funds. Kids are moving back home with their parents and they have kids.   Because of all this down turn in the economy, people are turning to a home based business. Something they can do on their own, knowing they will not get fired, or the next day they go to work, the door be locked and they receive a pink slip. But in order to make a home based business work you have to have the right tools, just like the miners did.   Most people jump right in, no tools, no real knowledge, no direction at all.  They hear many people saying, get rich quick! Well there is no such thing as get rich quick. You have to work hard in a home business, just like the miners did mining for gold.   To make it successful in a home based business, you have to have good leaders to show you the way. A team that will keep you on the right track, keep you going when you get down or when you want to just give up.   A home based business is no different that any other home business or career out there. You have to work at it, you have to have passion and desire, then take action.  You can not just sit on the couch starring at your computer hoping that leads will come in.  It will never happen.   If you want to make it big in the home based business world, then find a legitimate home business and put your blood, sweat and tears in it. Put some good old elbow grease in it, just like the miners that were successful in becoming rich in gold did and you will become successful too!
