Xbmc on Ubuntu -video card problem

Hi @all,

im really getting mad setting up my ATI HD3200 on ubuntu.

Downloaded gt;AMD64 Ubuntu 8.04 quot;Hardy Heronquot; Minimal CDlt;

I installed ati drivers by this howto:
link From:/wiki/?title=HOW-TO:_Install_XBMC_for_Linux_on_Ubuntu_8.10_(Intrepid)_step-by-step" target="_blank">from--/wiki/?title=HOW-TO:_...)_step-by-step

Only change is that i used following version od the driver(instead of 8-12)
link From:www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/ati-driver-installer-9.2-x86.x86_64.run" target="_blank">from--www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/at...x86.x86_64.run

No Error messages appeared during installation.
When i try to run XBMC i get:
error(quot;XBMC can not run without direct rendering.\n\nPlease install a valid opengl driver.quot;)

So something's wrong with my video card setup.

fglrxinfo
gt;gt; Error: unable to open display (null)

Here´s my
/etc/X11/xorg.conf
...
Section quot;Devicequot;
Identifier  quot;Configured Video Devicequot;
Driver  quot;fglrxquot;
Option quot;VideoOverlayquot; quot;onquot;

EndSection
...

Sorry but i am newbie on Linux, and i really searched several forum to solve my problem, but without luck...
