Only use XBMC as a Network DVD-player Network, Only, XBMC, use

I want to setup XBMC as a network DVD Player only. I want XBMC to only display and play DVD's located on my NAS. How am I to set this up? Is it even possible?

Should I concentrate on writing a script or is it a new skin?
