HDMI lost when stop or pause

- I use xbmc 20937.
- NVIDIA 9500 configured with VPAUD.
- SPidf out redirected to HDMI AUDIO NVIDIA CARD with cable.

My problem is the HDMI AUDIO . I lost audio hdmi when I stop or pause video.
The only way to recover is ssh to the htpc, and execute alsamixer... If I mute and unmute IEC958, the sound returns.

I purge pulseaudio but the problem remains.


Edit:
Seems that I lost complete HDMI AUDIO . Now with or without pulseaudio, at sound preferences in gnome, all tests results no sound. I didn't change anything about config, only a few test removing and reinstalling pulseaudio.
